Voit Real Estate Services/CORFAC International Directs 4 Transactions In Southern California Totaling $11.3 Million

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA (March 8, 2010) – Voit Real Estate Services, a member of CORFAC International, has directed 4 transactions in Southern California for a total consideration of $11.3 million.
 
 
Transaction #1:
BEHR Process Corporation, a paint manufacturing company, has signed an eight-year lease on a 220,237 square foot industrial building for $5.3 million. The property is located at 21701 Mark Collins Drive in Sauk Village, Illinois.
Kevin Turner of Voit Real Estate Services’ Irvine office represented the lessee, BEHR Process Corporation. The lessor, Prologis NA3, LLC, a global provider of distribution facilities, was represented by CBRE.
 
Transaction #2:
The Orange County Shared Spaces Foundation, created in 2008 to develop quality, affordable and stable multi-tenant nonprofit centers that will strengthen the Orange County nonprofit sector, has acquired a 33,981 square-foot office property for $2.8 million. The property is located at 1505 E. 17th Street in Santa Ana, Calif.    
Al Pekarcik and Dan Vittone of Voit Real Estate Services’ Irvine office represented the buyer, Orange County Shared Spaces Foundation. The seller, 1505 E. 17th Street Associates, represented themselves.
 
Transaction #3:
Martin Door Manufacturing, a garage door manufacturer, has sold a 21,093 square-foot industrial building for $2.2 million. The property is located at 7422 Walnut Avenue in Buena Park, Calif.
 “We were able to quickly secure a quality buyer that met the short timeframe set by Martin Door Manufacturing,” said Dan Berkenfield of Voit Real Estate Services’ Anaheim Metro office. “The buyer is relocating their corporate headquarters from Anaheim to this Buena Park location.”
Berkenfield represented the seller Martin Door Manufacturing. The buyer, APV Manufacturing & Engineering Co., an aerospace manufacturer, was represented by David Duncan of Century 21.
 
Transaction #4:
            Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge, LLP, a law firm with 12 offices across the United States and the United Kingdom, has signed a multi-year lease on 6,523 square-foot office property for $1 million. The property is located at 660 Newport Center Drive, in Newport Beach, Calif.      
 
Doug Killian of Voit Real Estate Services’ Irvine office represented the lessee, Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge, LLP. The lessor, The Irvine Company, represented themselves.
