I just read about a new report from Real Estate Marketing Insider on the commercial real estate industry and mobile marketing. Read a post about the report.
REMI reports that commercial brokers are using mobile marketing more now than ever before, with a 61% increase in mobile use in just a year. That’s a huge surge for an industry that hasn’t used mobile that often. Accoring to Real Estate Marketing Insider:
Most new companies work in smaller offices. Tech start-ups are often completely online, with very few maintaining landlines at all. Increasingly, a mobile-ready advertising setup is becoming necessary for commercial real estate.
Here at CORFAC HQ, we have increased our online presence over the past year, and we have seen mobile visits to www.corfac.com increase by 191%, with 9.4% of visits coming from a mobile device, which is pretty close to the data in the graphic below. This has made us consider making a mobile version of the website to meet the changing market.
If this is the way of the future, CRE agents need to rise to meet the demand. What are you doing to reach out to more mobile, internet savvy clients?
Here’s an infographic from inMotion Real Estate that depicts the changes in the CRE market.
