Bio

Darrell Schulz has been with The Klabin Company since 2006, originally hired as a clerk training to be a salesperson, and then serving in a number of roles before rising to Chief Operating Officer/Principal in 2014. In his position, he oversees corporate operations and finance, and also works closely with the senior team on maintaining the company’s culture. Darrell is a firm believer in the importance of culture and its impact on the success of the organization. He believes at Klabin it’s the positive and collaborative atmosphere that sets the company apart from its competition. Darrell is a member of the American Industrial Real Estate Association (AIR) and CORFAC International. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Southern California. Darrell was born and raised in Lodi, and now resides in La Crescenta with his wife and two children. In 2003 he was a member of the NCAA National Championship Water Polo Team at USC. Darrell currently holds a blue belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and has completed an Ironman Triathlon and the Angeles Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run, but most of all he enjoys spending time in the great outdoors, ultra-running, hiking, hunting and fishing.
