Leveraging local market knowledge, development expertise, and complex deal structuring in the industrial and land development sectors. Doug is a Partner, and Senior Vice President at Clearview Commercial Realty, bringing with him 30 years of extensive experience in commercial real estate development and brokerage. He has been instrumental in orchestrating hundreds of leasing and sale transactions across Canada and Eastern Europe. Prior to joining Clearview, Doug served as a Principal at Avison Young for 11 years, where his local market knowledge and expertise in development and deal structuring established him as a trusted advisor to numerous clients. Doug held key roles including overseeing all aspects of leasing and property management at Giffels Management Russia, where he managed projects such as a 6 million square foot logistics park in South Moscow, and significant logistics parks in Kiev, Ukraine, and Kazan, Russia. He also served as Vice President, Leasing at Giffels Management Limited, leading leasing programs nationwide in Canada. Doug's tenure as Vice President, Industrial at Hopewell Development Corporation in Calgary and Toronto saw him manage the leasing of over 10 million square feet of commercial property, further solidifying his reputation as an industry leader and strategic partner.
