Bio

Lester is a founding principal of Piedmont Properties. From inception in 1993, he has overseen the emergence of the firm as the leading entrepreneurial commercial real estate services company specializing in industrial and commercial real estate. Lester has experience in all phases of real estate planning from site selection, valuation, project feasibility analysis, financing, development, and sale or lease negotiations. He brings a unique perspective to the commercial real estate industry, having started his professional career working for McClean Trucking and Southeastern Freight Lines. During that period he gained national and professional experience working in operations, sales, and logistics within a 13-state territory. In his early years at Piedmont, Lester focused on transportation real estate and represented national trucking brands as well as regional firms and property investors. Over time, that experience has broadened to include warehousing, distribution, assembly, manufacturing, and build-to-suit. Lester is actively involved in 24 Hours of Booty, which raises funds and awareness for cancer survivors and research. He is currently on the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) Retention Committee.
