Yes. Contact Diann Harris at diann@corfac.com to make additions to your registration prior to the start of the meeting. If you would like to sign up for any other tours or events while at the meeting, please visit the registration desk on-site. Events could be sold out if you don’t register ahead of time.
What is the Rendezvous every night at 10:00 pm?
Rendezvous is a time set aside every night for drinks, informal networking, and getting to know your fellow CORFAC members better. This is not a CORFAC-sponsored event, so individuals are responsible for their own drink purchases. The location of the Rendezvous will be provided in the conference app and pocket guide.
When will the CORFAC conference app be available?
An e-mail will be sent to all attendees 10 days before the meeting with instructions on how to download and install the app on your electronic device. The CORFAC conference app provides all of the details on the meeting and is updated in real-time if any schedule or room changes occur.
I don’t see committee meetings on the schedule. When are they taking place?
In order to maximize our time in Amsterdam, all committee meetings will be held via conference call prior to the Fall Summit. The Executive Committee and the Board of Directors are the only two meetings that will take place on-site in London. The Executive Committee meeting is closed to the general membership.
Museum Tickets
To buy museum tickets in advance in Amsterdam, it's highly recommended to book online, as many museums no longer have ticket offices and require reservations. Popular museums like the Van Gogh Museum and the Rijksmuseum require advance booking with a specific start time. The Anne Frank House also requires advance booking.
Will I need a plug adapter for my electronics?
If you are traveling from the United States, you will need a Type G plug adapter. If you don’t purchase an adapter ahead of time, you can find them in shops in Amsterdam.
Do I need a passport to travel from the US to Amsterdam?
U.S. citizens are required to carry a valid U.S. passport book or valid Dutch residence permit to enter the Netherlands. The U.S. passport card is not acceptable to the Dutch as identification. U.S. passport holders do not need a visa for stays of up to 90 days in the Netherlands. Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond your planned departure date from the Europe area.
Anything else I need to know?
A daily e-mail will be sent to all attendees with a lineup of the day’s events, including any changes to the schedule. The registration desk will be open on Sunday afternoon and all-day Monday to pick up your conference badge.
