Hollywood, FL (December 15, 2011) –CORFAC International (Corporate Facility Advisors) Executive Director Susan S. Newman announced that Alan Joel, a principal with Joel and Granot Real Estate/CORFAC International in Atlanta, has won the 2011 Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtor's Realtor of the Year award. The award was presented during the board's holiday party in mid-December at the InterContinental Buckhead. Factors taken into consideration include REALTOR® spirit, civic activity, and business accomplishments. While the award is not based solely on individual production and rather, what the individual has done for the real estate community as a whole and the complexity of deals, Joel & Granot had a big year. Some of the transactions in which JGRE completed were: a 35,000-square-foot lease with Sam Flax, the art supply and paper-supply company; a 20,000-square-foot lease with Amdocs, the mobile-data management company and helping Popeyes move its HQ to The Terrace. JGRE also facilitated two leases with a Confidential Financial Services Firm – in the Buckhead Financial Center – Alliance Two and Tower Place 200.
