Bradford Adds SVP, Managing Partner To Oversee, Expand Office Portfolio

DALLAS, TX (February 11, 2013) – Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services/CORFAC International has landed a 15-year professional skilled in new business development to oversee and expand its seven million-square-foot office portfolio.

Ed Pachecano has joined Dallas-based Bradford as senior vice president and managing partner in the wake of the merger between CASE Commercial and John Bowles Co. (JBC), where he started as an intern and rose to managing director.

"Ed’s history of service, both professionally and personally, will add substantial leverage to our office team. It's hard to find a 35 year old who has 15 years of office brokerage and agency experience, so needless to say, we are extremely excited to add his youth, energy and history of success to the Bradford office services platform," says Kevin J. Santaularia, Bradford's president and CEO.

Pachecano will partner with Bradford senior vice presidents, Sharon Friedberg and Melanie Hughes, one of the top-producing office leasing teams in Dallas/Fort Worth. Pachecano's new role also includes strategic planning and recruiting brokers for the office group.

Foremost is Pachecano's drive to add a signature office building or portfolio to add to Bradford's inventory to send a strong statement to the marketplace about the team's capabilities. Third-party leasing assignments and property acquisitions both factor into his business development strategies for Bradford.

"There are good opportunities to grow Bradford's business," Pachecano says. "That is my sweet spot." He was instrumental in driving JBC's inventory to nearly 10 million square feet of office, retail and flex space.

"This will be an interesting challenge, but it's not my first ship to captain and not my first rodeo," says the well-known broker. "I know we will be successful at Bradford because this business is still a meritocracy – performance matters."

Pachecano is a member of the Real Estate Council, International Council of Shopping Centers and North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, previously serving on its board of directors.
