Portland, OR (September 26, 2012) – Capacity Commercial Group/CORFAC International Principal Don Ossey, SIOR, announced that his firm has facilitated the sale of a 173,395-square-foot industrial building in Portland to Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette, for $12.65 million.

The seller was an investor, 5950 NE 122nd Ave, LLC and the former tenant in the building was Qwest. Goodwill will occupy the property, which is located at 5950 NE 122nd Avenue in Portland, OR.

Don Ossey, Associate Broker Robbie McEachern and Associate Broker Mitch Page with Capacity Commercial Group/CORFAC International represented the seller.

David L. Ellis a Principal with Capacity Commercial Group/CORFAC International and Dan Bozich, Senior Vice-President with Urban Works Real Estate represented Goodwill Industries in the acquisition. 

The property is on approximately 14.85 acres at the Northeast corner of Northeast 122nd Avenue and Airport Way. Goodwill will use 15 loading doors in the building, with five more designated for recycling compactors. From this central Portland hub, Goodwill’s current plan is to serve Gresham, Halsey, Sandy, Powell, Clackamas, Woodstock, The Dalles and Hood River Goodwill stores. The organization intends to take occupancy of the building by late in the first quarter of 2014.

This facility will serve as the charity's 5th Goodwill Outlet - where donations are available one final time and then sold to the public by the pound or piece.
