Cypress, CA (September 19, 2012) – Underlining what is being termed an “increasing demand for highly improved industrial properties in Orange County”, C&D Zodiac has leased an 85,773 square foot facility in the master planned Warland Cypress Business Center in Cypress, CA for expansion of their aircraft division, The Klabin Company/CORFAC International announces.

C&D Zodiac plans a September occupancy of its newly refurbished concrete tilt-up facility located at 11240 Warland Dr. 

David Prior, SIOR, president in Klabin/CORFAC’s Torrance, CA office, along with Frank Schulz, SIOR, and Todd Taugner, SIOR, of Klabin/CORFAC represented Warland Investment Company, the property owner.  Frank Adler, principal and senior vice president of Lee & Associates – Newport Beach, represented C&D Zodiac.  Terms of the long-term lease were not disclosed.  Adler said C&D Zodiac expects to employ approximately 200-250 people at the Cypress site.

A French-owned company with multiple facilities in Orange County, C&D Zodiac designs, certifies, manufactures and integrates fine aircraft interiors worldwide.  The company has been in business since 1972, growing from a supplier of interior components to a supplier of integrated interior systems.  In this time, the company has grown to over 5000 employees with 15 facilities worldwide in six countries.

Key features of C&D Zodiac’s new facility include up to 31,000 square feet of office space, up to 259-car parking, 30-foot minimum clear height and six dock high doors.

Warland Cypress Business Center is a 170-acre office, R&D, warehouse and manufacturing complex strategically located just minutes form the San Diego (605), Garden Grove (22) and San Gabriel (605) Freeways.  Other key tenants of the Warland center include Mitsubishi and Daiwa.  Complementing the business environment is Warland Retail Plaza, offering 135,000 square feet of restaurant, merchandise and supports services.
