LOS ANGELES (April 2, 2012) – Classic Party Rentals, considered the nation’s premier special event rental company whose credits include Hollywood awards shows and movie premieres, has signed a long-term lease for a 96,039 square foot industrial building in the Los Angeles International Airport area for relocation and expansion of its fulfillment center and headquarters from Culver City, CA, announces The Klabin Company/CORFAC International.

Douglas R. Marshall, a principal in the Los Angeles office of The Klabin Company/CORFAC, reports that Classic Party Rentals schedules a July occupancy of its new fulfillment center and headquarters located at 901 Hillcrest Blvd.  In excess of 200 people are expected to be employed at the site.

Marshall and David Prior, SIOR, president of the Klabin firm, represented Classic Party Rentals in the 10-year lease.  Lease consideration was not disclosed.  Luke Staubitz, SIOR, Harvey Beesen and Andrew Dilfer, also of Klabin/CORFAC’s Los Angeles office, represented an affiliate of Cargo Ventures Delaware, LLC, the landlord.

Serving over 30 locations including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Atlanta and Dallas, Classic Party Rentals has long been recognized as the country’s leading rental company.  In addition to Hollywood galas, the company’s high profile event roster includes celebrity weddings and charity events.  Classic Party Rentals offers a deep inventory of tables, chairs, fine china, high-end flatware, specialty linens, tents, canopies and more.  The company also provides event consultation and location recommendations.

Company officials report that the Culver City location for Classic Party Rentals is the fourth largest sales and fulfillment center for the company in the country.  The company’s other facility in El Segundo is routinely the number one sales and fulfillment center.  This makes the Los Angeles market the largest for Classic Party Rentals in the country.  Officials noted that the headquarters is expected to relocate to the new facility some time next year.

The new fulfillment center and future headquarters for Classic Party Rentals is a freestanding, concrete tilt-up structure featuring excellent loading, a separate office pod,  15,000 square feet of office space, and generous on-site parking.  The facility is strategically located near the 405 Freeway and is only 5.5 miles from its current Culver City location.
