CORFAC International congratulates the winners of the 2023 COR$TAR Awards, which recognize member firms and individuals for their in-network referral transactions.

The awards were announced during CORFAC’s 2024 Spring Conference in Dallas. The COR$TAR Awards recognize the largest member-to-member referral transactions for both volume and square footage as well as the broker and firm with the most referrals the prior year. 

“Congratulations to all COR$TAR Award recipients and to everyone who worked together on in-network transactions last year,” said 2024 CORFAC President David Boyd, CCIM, SIOR, Principal of Boyd Commercial/CORFAC International. “These referrals demonstrate the value of our affiliation with the CORFAC network. Our platform provides the opportunity to do business around the world for our clients. It’s my honor to recognize these members for using the network to its potential,” Boyd added.

Largest Industrial Referral - Dollar Value 
James Stubblebine of The Stubblebine Company/CORFAC International in Lexington, MA, and Josh Gispan and Martin Morici, SIOR, of TRI Commercial/CORFAC International in San Jose, CA, collaborated on a $24 million flex/R&D property sale in San Jose between seller IPG Photonics and purchaser ISE Labs, Inc. 

Largest Industrial Referral – Square Feet
Michael Feuerman, CCIM, SIOR, and Daniel Silver of Berger Commercial/CORFAC International in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Jeffrey Garibaldi Sr., CCIM, of The Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International in Chatham, NJ, collaborated on a 136,202 square foot industrial sublease in Dayton, NJ. The sublandlord was Aurobindo and the subtenant is Reliable Healthcare Logistics. 

Largest Office Referral – Dollar Value and Square Feet
Ed Benoit, CCIM, and Skip Andreae of TRI Commercial/CORFAC International in Roseville, CA, collaborated with Chris Shanks, CCIM, and Matt DeRicco of Dickson Commercial Group/CORFAC International in Reno, NV, on an $11.8 million, 42,900 square foot office building purchase in Reno sold by Sandhill Property Owner LLC to Allen Etchepare. 
 
Largest Retail Referral – Dollar Value
Bryan Wirt of TRI Commercial/CORFAC International in Roseville, CA, collaborated with Chris Shanks, CCIM, and Matt DeRicco of Dickson Commercial Group/CORFAC International in Reno on a $4.5 million retail investment purchase that will be home to a future OIive Garden. The seller was Sienna 44 Holdings LP and the buyer was David Quon. 

Largest Retail Referral – Square Feet 
Nick Knecht of Dickson Commercial Group/CORFAC International in Reno, collaborated with Jeff Hays, Trent Rustan, and Sam Rutledge of Commercial Properties/CORFAC International in Tempe, AZ, on a 7,693 square foot lease in Scottsdale, AZ, between lessor Dunbar Scottsdale LLC and lessee Hot Tub Superstore 3 LLC.

International Referral of the Year
Kiyoshi Inomata, CCIM, of Asset Build Inc./CORFAC International in Tokyo, Japan, and Dr. Yong-Nam Kim, CCIM, CPM, FRICS, SIOR, of Global PMC/CORFAC International in Seoul, South Korea, collaborated on a $4.1 million multifamily purchase in Tokyo. 

Individual Members with the Most Referrals
Congrats to Ed Benoit, CCIM, of TRI Commercial/CORFAC International, and Nick Knecht of Dickson Commercial Group/CORFAC International, who each referred two transactions in the network last year.
