Organization’s Leading Sale and Lease Transactions Recognizes Joint Assignments Between Two or More Brokerage Professionals Serving One Client in Different Markets

Hollywood, FL (March 11, 2010) –CORFAC International, an international alliance of leading entrepreneurial and privately held commercial real estate firms, today announced the names of the organization’s leading brokerage professionals and top network joint assignments for 2009. The networking awards recognize the CORFAC brokerage professionals in which two or more brokers from different firms represented a single client and company in a completed sale or lease negotiation.CORFAC 2009 Network Awards were presented to the leading CORFAC firms and brokerage professionals based on the total number of outbound referrals to other CORFAC firms.  The awards, which cover the areas of office, industrial, R&D, investment sales, and retail, were announced at the CORFAC International conference held recently in Phoenix. U.S.-based CORFAC International has 50 firms in the U.S., Canada and Mexico in 64 locations. Sansone Group/CORFAC International was the overall Top Producing Firm for the highest number of transaction referrals (46).  Top Office Joint Assignment Lease by Square Footage and Value Deal (Lease)Peter Blanchard and Toby Nelson of The Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International of Chatham, NJ referred and co-brokered with David M. Boyd, CCIM, SIOR of Boyd Commercial of Houston, a 21,566 square foot lease for Maersk Oil America, Inc. in Houston, TX.Top Industrial Lease and SaleJeff Graham, SIOR of King Industrial Realty of Jacksonville, FL lease referred and co-brokered with Kevin Crowley, SIORand Jason Lozano ofIowa Realty Commercial a 192,500 square foot lease on behalf of Rock Tenn Company in Iowa City, IA. 

Alexander Reilly, CCIM, SIOR of Houston-based Boyd Commercial LLC referred and co-brokered with Daniel Gostylo of Providence Commercial RES/CORFAC International in San Antonio, the sale of an 88,000 square foot industrial building in San Antonio. The buyer was Swiff-Train.

Top R&D DealHoward E. Greenberg, of Howard Properties, Ltd./CORFAC International of White Plains, NY referred and co-brokered with Craig Zurick of The Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International of Chatham, NJ, the largest network transaction among CORFAC professionals in 2009. The deal was a 148,191 square-foot data center lease on behalf of Cervalis, LLC for a newly constructed data center in northern NJ.Top Investment Sales DealRobert (Bob) King, CCIM of TRI Commercial/CORFAC International based in Northern California referred and jointly brokered with Jeff Crane of The Andover Co./CORFAC International, based in Seattle, the $3.25 million sale of a Federal Way, WA International House of Pancakes (IHOP) property totaling 4,022 square feet on behalf of WB Equities.  Top Retail DealsScott Savacool of the Sansone Group/CORFAC International referred Brett Zelner & Mike Antkies of New York City-based Lansco Corporation a 2,600 square foot lease transaction on behalf of St. Louis-based Scottrade, which opened a new retail outfit on Broad Street in Lower Manhattan. 

Tim Cherre of the Sansone Group/CORFAC International referred Daniel Gostylo of Providence Commercial RES/CORFAC International in San Antonio a 4,000 square foot lease transaction in Austin, TX, for St. Louis based La Fronterra Village L.P.
