David Boyd, SIOR, CCIM presented with the annual Charlie King MVP Award

Each year, CORFAC International recognizes an individual as the ‘Most Valuable Player’ for his or her contributions and development of CORFAC, a nonprofit organization with a sizeable volunteer force. Boyd won the 2012 MVP Award for his work in updating new branding standards for CORFAC and enhancing the value of its brand. David Boyd’s father, Mike Boyd, SIOR, CRE, won the Charlie King MVP Award in 2007.

“David was willing to take on the issue of branding for more than a year.  He served as Chair of the Branding Task Force and was successful in guiding the group to a consensus that was acceptable to the diverse task force membership.  In addition, David was an important contributor to our new strategic plan and is accepting new assignments,” said Doug Marshall, 2012 CORFAC International President and also a Principal with The Klabin Co./CORFAC International, based in Los Angeles, CA.

Boyd was presented the award last week at CORFAC International’s Fall Summit. CORFAC (Corporate Facility Advisors) is a Top 5 ranked commercial real estate network in the U.S. and among the top 20 commercial real estate services organizations in the country.
