Rancho Dominguez, CA – Citing the expansion of a leading manufacturer as a “good sign for the economy,” officials of The Klabin Company/CORFAC International announce that Diamond Mattress, a 65-year-old family-owned company, has acquired a 35,044 square foot facility in Rancho Dominguez, CA for $3.3 million for expansion of its manufacturing activities.

Klabin/CORFAC brokers report that Diamond Mattress recently (June) occupied its new facility located adjacent to its existing property at 3105 E. Harcourt St.

David Prior, SIOR, Frank Schulz, SIOR, and Todd Taugner, SIOR in Klabin/CORFAC’s Torrance office represented both Diamond Mattress and Rochester Roanoke Associates, the seller.

The new manufacturing building for Diamond Mattress is a concrete tilt-up structure on approximately and acre and a half of land.  Key building features include 3,000 square feet of office space, three dock high loading positions, a fenced yard, and 18-foot clear height.

Diamond Mattress has been designing and handcrafting mattresses in the United States since 1946.  The company makes its own individually wrapped coils, processes, cuts and convolutes its own foam, and offers an industry leading 20-year warranty, according to its web site.
