Frank Schulz of Klabin Co./CORFAC Elected President of SIOR’s Los Angeles Chapter

Los Angeles, CA (February 4, 2014) – Frank J. H. Schulz, III, SIOR, vice president and a veteran commercial real estate broker for The Klabin Company/CORFAC International, has been elected to a two-year term as president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).  Schulz succeeds Robert Thornburg of Heger Industrial. 
 
Joining Schulz on the executive committee for SIOR/LA are John DeGrinis, SIOR of Collliers International, vice president; Adam Deierling, SIOR, Colliers International, second vice president; Jack Whalen, SIOR, Heger Industrial, secretary/treasurer; Rob Antrobius, Prologis, sergeant at arms, and Barry Hill, SIOR, Jones Lang LaSalle, membership recruitment.
 
In addition to his SIOR leadership post, Schulz has served on the L.A. chapter’s board of directors for several years.  He also served his industry as past president of the Los Angeles Transportation Club, and is a member of CORFAC International.
 
Having served in commercial real estate for 10 years, all with Klabin Co./CORFAC, Schulz is a graduate of USC with a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Policy, Planning and Development.  He resides in Redondo Beach with his wife, Devan, and two-year-old twins.
 
Founded in 1946, SIOR’s L.A. Chapter is one of the largest and oldest SIOR groups in the United States.  According to the society, SIOR is the leading professional commercial and industrial real estate association.  With members in 630 cities in 34 countries, SIOR represents today’s most knowledgeable, experienced, and successful commercial real estate brokerage specialists.

The Los Angeles Chapter has 86 active members that work within the Greater Southern California market.
