RICHARDSON, Texas (May 29, 2012) - Go Industries Inc. has acquired a four-building complex within eye's view of its corporate headquarters, distribution and manufacturing hub, kick starting a long-awaited plan to expand production.

"What this purchase is allowing us to do is more than double the size of our machine shop, hire a few more people and increase production," says Bob Orth Sr., founder of the 34-year-old Go Industries, one of the nation's leading manufacturers of aftermarket truck accessories, including the Big Tex Grille Guard.

Go Industries is planning to ratchet up production at 909 N. Bowser Rd. in the coming weeks. The 39,602-sf package of metal buildings is set on three acres, with the company's 420 N. Grove Rd. campus located right across the tracks of the Kansas City Southern Railway. The extra space is enabling the 8,000-sf machine shop to expand to 18,000 sf and the 4,000-sf welding department to increase to 8,000 sf – and builds in room for future expansions.

Kevin J. Santaularia, president and CEO of Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Services/CORFAC International, negotiated the purchase for Go Industries, making the close within five months of a deal falling out with the railroad for a one-acre tract to fulfill the longstanding need to expand. John Hendricks of CBRE represented the seller, Atlas Copco Compressors Inc.

"We were very fortunate that this property went on the market when it did. The timing was good and interest rates are low," Orth says. "We were very, very pleased."

Go Industries will use part of the Bowser Road space for warehousing and distribution. The company will vacate the only leased site in its portfolio, a 25,000-sf warehouse at 660 N. Dorothy Rd., in tandem with a lease expiration at the end of June.

The Bowser Road property includes an office building with 17 suites that Orth is planning to lease to other companies. He is committed to keeping Go Industries' headquarters and sales division at 420 N. North Grove. Also remaining intact is the company's 49,200-sf, two-building manufacturing facility in Clifton, Texas.
