Torrance, CA (September 11, 2014) – Habitat for Humanity, the non-profit ecumenical Christian ministry that builds homes for people in need, has signed a long-term lease for 29,978 square feet of space in a Torrance, CA industrial building for a Habitat for Humanity ReStore, announces The Klabin Company/CORFAC International.

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are non-profit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at “a fraction of the retail price.”  The stores are owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates.

The Habitat for Humanity ReStore schedules an immediate occupancy of its Torrance store, which is part of a 75,643 square foot building located at 18600 Crenshaw Blvd.

Todd Taugner, SIOR, David Prior, SIOR, and Frank Schulz, SIOR, in the Torrance office of The Klabin Co. represented Karney Management Company, the landlord, in the 10-year lease valued at $2.7 million.  Arnold Ng of Apex Commercial represented the tenant.

The new for Habitat for Humanity ReStore will occupy a modern concrete tilt-up building featuring 2,400 square feet of office space, three dock high loading doors and 24-feet clear height warehouse space.
