Inglewood, CA (October 9, 2013) – Sprinkles Cupcakes, the world’s first cupcake bakery, has leased a 32,213 square foot industrial facility at Airport Business Center in Inglewood for relocation of its headquarters, test kitchen and storage activities, announced The Klabin Company/CORFAC International.  Sprinkles plans a December 1 occupancy following a complete remodeling of the property located at 300 Oak St.

Courtney Bell and Matt Stringfellow of Klabin/CORFACs Torrance office represented Klabin Redevelopment Associates, LLC, the property owner.  Peter Pistone of InterPres Commercial Realty in City of Industry represented Sprinkles Cupcakes.  Terms of the lease were not disclosed.

Established in Beverly Hills in 2005 by founder the pastry chef Candace Nelson, Sprinkles’ handcrafted cupcakes feature fine ingredients, including sweet cream butter, bittersweet Belgian chocolate, pure Madagascar Bourbon vanilla, fresh bananas and carrots, real strawberries and natural citrus zests.  In 2012, Sprinkles debuted the world’s first Cupcake ATM and continued its foray into classic American desserts with the launch of Sprinkles Ice Cream.

The company’s new headquarters is a concrete tilt-up structure featuring 4,641 square feet of office space, 21-foot minimum interior clearance, dock high and ground level loading, and on-site parking for 46 cars.
