Mercury Gse Buys Buildings At Lax To Relocate Headquarters, The Klabin Company/Corfac Reports
HAWTHORNE, CA – Mercury GSE, a supplier of aircraft ground support equipment, has acquired a two-building industrial facility of approximately 40,000 square feet near LAX in Hawthorne, CA for $3.2 million and will relocate its headquarters to the site, announces The Klabin Company/CORFAC. Mercury GSE schedules an immediate occupancy of its new headquarters located on some three acres at 12515-12519 Cerise Ave. The buyer will occupy one of the buildings and retain the existing tenant in the other. Mercury GSE relocates from Cerritos, CA.Andrew Dilfer, Harvey Beesen and Luke Staubitz, SIOR, in Klabin/CORFAC’s Los Angeles office represented Mercury GSE in the transaction. Greg Dyer and Tres Reid of CBRE represented Ives Property Investment, LLC, the seller. The company provides new, used, and zero timed GSE for purchase, rental, or long-term lease. The company was founded in 1948 by former Flying Tigers personnel to refuel and service aircraft at LAX.The company’s new Hawthorne headquarters is a concrete tilt-up structure featuring 6200 square feet of office space, 13 ground level loading doors and on-site parking for 100 cars. Approximately 16 people will be employed at the site.
