Charlotte, NC – Piedmont Properties/CORFAC International, a leading full-service commercial real estate provider serving the Charlotte market, today announced the completion of the sale of an industrial building located at 940 Thomasboro Drive. The 20,000-square-foot property sits on eight acres of land.

The property was sold by All Coast Properties, LLC of Jacksonville, Florida to Duff Real Estate, LLC of Charlotte for $1.15 million. Lester E. Osborn, CCIM, SIOR, and A. Scott Hensley, CCIM, SIOR, of Piedmont Properties/CORFAC International represented the seller and procured the purchaser.

The property is zoned I-2 (Heavy Industrial) and is a 41-door truck terminal. Included in the square footage is a 14,000-square-foot warehouse and a 6,000-square-foot office with finished basement. The property is located just off of I-85, between Freedom Drive and Glenwood Drive.

This property was of interest to the buyer because of its direct access on and off the interstate system via Glenwood Drive. Having exposure on the interstate was certainly attractive as well.”
