Indian Land, SC (April 27, 2015) – Piedmont Properties/CORFAC International, one of the leading international commercial real estate service providers in the Charlotte market and surrounding areas, today announced the completion of the sale of 6.7 acres of land located at 8285 Charlotte Highway in Indian Land, South Carolina.

The property was sold by James & Jane Pierce to Johnson Development Association, Inc. of Spartanburg, South Carolina for $1,450,000.

Gentry says, “I began working with the seller’s father on this land prior to the recession. The recession occurred and several years later the father passed away. As most know, land values tanked during the recession making this transaction very difficult. I began working with James Pierce, the son, who became the new owner of the property. It is very satisfying to finally get the deal closed after working with both the father and the son for so many years. Getting a sales price that was in excess of the pre-recession values was very gratifying.”
