RIVERWOODS, IL (June 13, 2012) —Indorama Ventures (Oxide & Glycols) Ltd. has signed a lease for 7,122 square feet of space at Riverwoods Corporate Center in Riverwoods, Ill. Podolsky Northstar CORFAC International, the exclusive leasing agent for the building, announced the transaction.
Riverwoods Corporate Center, which totals 46,000 square feet of space, was completed in Summer 2006 through a partnership between Podolsky Northstar and Irgens Development. Both of those firms maintain offices in the building.
Riverwoods Corporate Center is a two-story office building featuring executive heated underground parking, grade level parking for more than 130 cars, Class A amenities, ribbon windows and prominent monument signage. It has been designated Three-Globes Certified for environmental and energy efficiency by the Green Globes Continual Improvement for Existing Buildings rating system.
The building’s unique ownership structure allows occupants to lease and/or own part of the building – without a condominium structure and restrictions.
With this transaction, Riverwoods Corporate Center remains 100 percent leased. Its tenants include Podolsky Northstar, a full service real estate firm; Horwitz & Associates, a financial services firm; Hardt, Stern & Kayne PC, a law firm; Irgens Development Partners, a real estate development company; Creative Financial Services, an investment advisor; Partners in Design, an architect; and Contract Resource, an interior design firm.
Indorama Ventures (Oxide & Glycols) Ltd. is one of the largest vertically integrated polyester chain producers in the world and a leading global manufacturer of wool yarns. Indorama is relocating from their current offices in Northbrook, and will use this space as its corporate headquarters.
Corey B. Chase, Principal at Podolsky Northstar CORFAC International, represented RCC JV, LLC, building ownership, in the transaction. Randy D. Podolsky, SIOR, Managing Principal, and Adam J. Tarantur, Senior Vice President, both also with Podolsky Northstar CORFAC International, represented the tenant. John Stern of Hardt, Stern and Kayne provided legal counsel to ownership.
