RIVERWOODS, IL.  (May 21, 2012)— Melissa L. Podolsky, RPA, and Adam J. Tarantur, both Senior Vice Presidents at Podolsky Northstar CORFAC International, represented BDI-Bearing Distributors Inc.  in a trio of Chicago-area industrial lease transactions totaling 32,366 sq. ft.

The transactions, completed within a 10-week period of each other, reflect robust activity in the Chicago market for Cleveland, OH-based BDI. “The expansion of our Chicago-area footprint fosters BDI’s continued growth in key U.S. markets and also supports our burgeoning global presence,” said BDI-USA President & COO John Ruth.

The individual transaction information is as follows:

• BDI-USA leased 10,500 sq. ft. (Unit G) in a 133,892 sq. ft. building at 901 S. Route 53, Addison, IL.  BDI recently took occupancy of this space.  Mike Hawryluk of Cushman & Wakefield represented the owner, Cabot Properties.
• BDI-USA leased 10,000 sq. ft. (Suite 4233) in a 35,000 sq. ft. building at 4205-4233 United Parkway, Schiller Park, IL.  BDI recently took occupancy of this space.  NAI Hiffman represented the owner, KTR Capital Partners.
• BDI-USA leased 11,866 sq. ft. (Unit B) in a 49,066 sq. ft. building at 281 Shore Drive, Burr Ridge, IL.  BDI will take occupancy of this space as of July 1st.  Ron Goldsmith of Newmark Knight Frank Epic represented the owner, Sitex Realty Group.
