Quorum International Inks 203,289-SF Lease
FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Nick Talley, 817-921-8177Karen Simon, 817-921-8170FORT WORTH, TX (January 7, 2013) – Signing a 203,289-sf lease, Quorum International has renewed, expanded and will consolidate its national distribution center under one roof at Railhead Industrial Park.The long-term term lease has landed at Railhead Distribution Center, located at 421-441 Railhead Dr., owned by Sun Life Assurance Co. and one of Quorum's two landlords in the park since 1998. In a consolidation decision, the specialty lighting company has leased the 123,905-sf balance of Sun Life's 305,255-sf rail-served building, where it presently occupies 79,384 sf."The main factor that got the deal done was they could be in contiguous space," says Nick Talley, market director for Dallas-based Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services.Tenant improvements are underway on the expansion space, including a dispatch office for long- and short-haul drivers. Quorum's new space will be ready to occupy in March.Quorum began searching for expansion space in September 2012.
