TORRANCE, CA -- Kitchen Bath Collection (KBC), a leading manufacturer and importer of designer kitchen, dining and bathroom products for over 20 years, has signed a long-term lease for 48,500 square feet of headquarters quality light industrial space in Torrance, CA, for expansion within the area, announces The Klabin Company/CORFAC International.
KBC schedules an Oct. 1 occupancy of its new facility located at 2860 California St. Approximately 25 people will be employed at the site. The company relocates from a nearby property.
Matt Stringfellow, SIOR, vice president in the Torrance office of The Klabin Co., and Courtney Bell, also a Klabin vice president, represented KBC in the transaction. Todd Taugner, SIOR, a partner in the Klabin firm, represented Karney Management, the lessor. Consideration for the 10-year lease was $3.2 million.
Established in 1994, KBC is known for its premium selection of bathroom vanities, and in recent years has expanded to include a wide variety of products, including kitchen range hoods, and lighting. KBC’s new facility is a concrete tilt-up structure featuring 10,000 square feet of office space, a portion of which will be showroom, four truck positions, calculated sprinkler system, 19-foot minimum clear height, and on-site parking for 70 vehicles.
