Northern New Jersey (April 2, 2009) -- President Howard E. Greenberg of Howard Properties, Ltd./CORFAC International of White Plains, NY and Senior Vice President Craig Zurick of The Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International of Chatham, NJ announced that the two firms have represented Cervalis, LLC in a lease transaction for a major new data center in New Jersey. This is the ninth real estate transaction in which Mr. Greenberg has represented the company since it was formed in 2000. 

The tenant signed a long term lease for an entire building of 148,191 square feet in Northern New Jersey, developed by Russo Development of Hackensack, New Jersey.  The facility will house 50,000 square feet of raised floor data center space, as well as 25,000 square feet of work area, recovery space and administrative offices. 

This lease represents Cervalis’ first facility in New Jersey, giving the company a full-service presence in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.  Cervalis now occupies more than 280,000 square feet of space for its data centers and disaster recovery centers in the tri-state area.  For security reasons, the company does not disclose property addresses.
