San Diego, CA (April 26, 2013) – Voit Real Estate Services/CORFAC International’s San Diego office has successfully directed the sale of a 37,491 square-foot office property in San Diego, on behalf of the San Diego County Bar Association. The building was the former University Club directly across the street from Symphony Towers.

Jeffrey A. Chasan, Senior Vice President in Voit Real Estate Services’ San Diego office was retained by the San Diego County Bar Association (SDCBA) to relocate their Corporate Offices and sell their location of 22 years at 1333 7th Avenue in San Diego. The SDCBA has a 114 year history in the City of San Diego, with over 10,000 members.

“This was a unique situation, in which the sale of the SDCBA’s building occurred at the same time that the new location was ready for the SDBCA to occupy. In essence, there was no down time and the SDCBA did not need to pay rent on one location while at the other. Timing is everything.”

The SDCBA, as of 1-15-13, has relocated their corporate offices to the Columbia Center building on 401 West A Street, Suite 1100, with a new state-of-the-art conference facility on the ground floor. This property will offer the opportunity for Bar members to connect, utilize free Wi-Fi, copiers, and office supplies, and meet with clients in small or large meeting rooms.

This seamless transition was accomplished through the diligent and professional efforts of Jeffrey Chasan and Ellen Miller-Sharp of the SDCBA.
