Inland Empire, CA (Sept. 9, 2013) – Voit Real Estate Services/CORFAC International is pleased to announce the addition of Ivette Barnett as Director of Real Estate Management Services, according to Rob Cord, Managing Director of Real Estate Management Services. Barnett will be working from Voit’s Anaheim, Irvine and Inland Empire offices and will work with management, leasing teams and their clients, as well as develop new business company-wide.

Prior to joining Voit, Barnett spent the last 16 years at CBRE where she started as a Real Estate Manager earning her way up to the position of Director with an emphasis on retail investment management.  During her tenure at CBRE, she focused on continuous integration of company services, which resulted in significant growth of retail property management for the Southern California market, surpassing company expectations.  Barnett brings to Voit a focused approach on the integration of services through partnerships with the brokers, increasing asset value through operating expense review, tenant relations, capital expenditure management, and strategic planning.
Before her time with CBRE, Barnett spent more than 5 years at Pan Pacific Retail Properties, where she worked as a Real Estate manager.  Her experience also includes operations management, marketing & promotions.

Barnett is an active member in ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) as well as NAFE (National Association for Executive Women) and she was a 2013 nominee for the Los Angeles Business Journal’s ‘Women Making a Difference’ issue. Barnett earned her degree in Linguistics from Cal. State University of Fullerton and her Associates degree in Business Administration from Cerritos Community College.
